Why Should I Get a Cholera Vaccine?

Cholera is a bacterial infection spread through contaminated food and water. It causes severe diarrhoea, dehydration and, in some cases, can be life-threatening. The vaccine is recommended if you're travelling to areas with poor sanitation or regions with known outbreaks. You may not be at risk in major cities, but rural or remote travel increases exposure. A single dose provides protection for up to two years.
